yasya deve parä bhaktir
yathä-deve tathä gurau
tasyaite kathitä hy arthäh
prakäsante mahätmanah

yasya—of whom; deve—in the Supreme Lord; parä—superior; bhaktih—devotion; yathä-deve—as in the Supreme Lord; tathä—in the same way; gurau—in the spiritual master; tasya—to him/her; ete—these; kathitäh—as described; hi—certainly; arthäh—the imports; prakäsante—are revealed; mahät-manah—of those great souls.

Only unto those great souls who have implicit faith in both the Lord and the spiritual master are all the imports of Vedic knowledge automatically revealed.
